Tht.23.3
This whole paragraph Stephen is giving himself a good dressing down.
Ts.23.3
Cousin Stephen, you will never be a saint. Isle of saints. You were awfully holy, weren’t you? You prayed to the Blessed Virgin that you might not have a red nose. You prayed to the devil in Serpentine avenue that the fusby widow in front might lift her clothes still more from the wet street, O si, certo! Sell your soul for that, do, dyed rags pinned round squaw. More tell me, more still! On the top of the Howth tram alone crying to the rain: Naked Women! Naked women! What about that, eh?

red nose
Rhinophyma
It is an unfortunate and deceptively famous disfiguring skin deforming disorder that makes your nose red, bulbous and bumpy. It is caused by the proliferation of your sebaceous gland and other underlying connective tissue.
History
In 1846 a man named Fernidando Hebra Von, probably a doctor, saw some ugly noses, and recognized his meal ticket in the cutthroat era of dermatological science. First, he linked it with Rosacea, the skin condition that turns your face red, the mortal enemy of easily embarrassed people. He continued to tinker with it until he made it a bonafide standalone skin disorder, throwing it in the mix with other phopas of facial fashion like: Mentophyma (Chin), Metophyma (Forehead), Gnathophyma (Chin), Otophyma (Ears) and Blepharophyma (Eyelids).
The Name
The Greeks know how to apply a catchy name.
rhis -> nose
phyma -> skin tumor
The Stigma
You know when you drink, sometimes your cheeks get a little blush? Well that is because your blood vessels are getting busy and pushing up into your skin. For just about everybody, it was just assumed that if you drink too much, your nose is just gonna stay red and get uglier. This led to Rhinophyma to be linked with excessive drinking, which in turn led to a pop culture world of villains, antagonists and drunks with endearing names like Whisky Nose, Potato Nose and Gin Blossom. It wouldn't be until 2015 that Scientists would discover that Rhinophyma had nothing to do with each other. But, know you, the damage was done. Here follows a list of victims of the Rhinophyma stigma.
The queen in Snow White
Mr.Smee in Peter Pan

Bbl.Genesis.3
The Fall of Mankind
3.1
Now the serpent was more cunning than any animal of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God really said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”
3.2
The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees we may eat;
3.3
But from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die’.”
3.4
The serpent said to the woman, “You certainly will not die!
3.5
For God know that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will become like God,
Or
and you will be like God,
knowing good and evil.”
3.6
When the woman saw that the tree was food for food,and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate.
3.7
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themself waist coverings.
3.8
Now they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the breeze of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
3.9
The Lord God called to the man, and said to him, “Where are you?”
3.10
He said,``I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.”
3.11
And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree from which I commanded you not to eat?”
3.12
The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me some of the fruit of the tree, and I ate.”
3.13
Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” And the woman said, “The Serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
3.14
Then the lord God said to the serpent,
3.15
Because you have done this, cursed are you more than all the livestock, and more than any animal of the field; on your belly you shall go, And dust you shall eat all the days of your life; and I will make enemies of you and the woman,
Or
And I will put enmity between you and the woman,
And of your offspring and her Descendant;
Or
And of your seed and of her Seed
Seed
An apparent prophetic reference of Christ.
He shall bruise you on the head,
Or
He shall crush you on the head,
And you shall bruise Him on the Heel.”
3.16
To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth. In pain you shall deliver children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”
3.17
Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife,and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it; cursed is the ground because of you; With hard labor you shall eat from it all of the days of your life.
3.18
Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you; Yet you shall eat the plants of the field;
3.19
By the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread, until you return to the ground, because from it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
3.20
Now the man named his wife Eve, because she was the mother of the living.
3.21
And the Lord god made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.
3.22
Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now,he might reach out with his hand, and take the fruit also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”--
3.23
Therefore for the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.
3.24
So he drove the man out; and at the east of the Garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword which turned every direction to guard the way to the tree of life.

Why? 1k years? Why at all?
20.4
Then I saw the thrones, and they sat on them,and judgement was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast of his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hands, and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
20.5
The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This was the first resurrection.
20.6
Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, and they will be priests of God and Christ, and will reign with him for a thousand years.
Satan Freed and Doomed
20.7
When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison.

Who are Gog and Magog
to gather them together for the war, the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.
20.9
And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saint and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
20.10
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Judgment at the Throne of God
20.11
Then I saw the great white throne and him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled, no place was found for them.
20.12
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened; and another scroll was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the scrolls, according to their deeds.
20.13
And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them;
